Karlsruhe, 10 June 2026. On 18 June 2026 the Spectral World GmbH is exhibiting at the Hinterland of Things in Bielefeld, one of Europe's largest B2B tech conferences. Our booth is where two worlds meet: the technology that builds something new quickly, and the governance that makes it hold.
Hinterland of Things: two worlds, one booth
On one side is the technology: AI knowledge management, dedicated hardware for Artificial Intelligence, and our own cloud infrastructure. On the other is the governance that makes all of it dependable: ITIL processes, governance frameworks, and preparation for ISO 27001 audits.
Marco Kellmann, Managing Director of the Spectral World GmbH, stands for the technology, at the interface between Artificial Intelligence, cloud, and business. Spasimira Goncheva-Kompa stands for the regulated side: IT governance and compliance from nearly two decades in large organisations where mistakes are expensive.

It gets interesting where the two lines meet, in governance for Artificial Intelligence. This is exactly where the questions that occupy mid-sized companies most right now are found: how do you build control lean enough that a business actually lives by it, instead of filing it away in a drawer?
We see that as the real hurdle. In a mid-sized company, an AI project rarely fails on the technology. It fails because the control is either missing or so heavy that nobody applies it day to day. We build it to fit the operation, not the other way around.
